# Edge Kit

Edge Kit is a Telegram agent for Edge City India 2026, a three-week popup village in Mandrem, North Goa (Oct 11 to Nov 1, 2026). It answers questions from the group chat, the calendar and the wiki, finds the people you should meet, and keeps the people you met.

## How to join

Open https://t.me/EdgeCity_KitBot in Telegram and press Start. Kit checks that you are in the Edge City India 2026 group, then drafts your card from your links and your intro in the group; you approve it.

## What Kit does

- Answers questions about the village from the group chat, the calendar and the wiki, citing the message or session it used.
- Lists what's on today, now and tomorrow, and lets you say "I'm in" to a session; your sessions become a calendar feed you can subscribe to.
- Matches people two ways (your need meets their offer, and the reverse) and makes double opt-in intros.
- Records meetings both people confirm (QR or selfie), and on Nov 1 hands you everyone you met with your notes.
- Sends one morning brief and one night card a day. Never more.

## Privacy

- Kit reads only what members of the group can already see: the group chat, the wiki and the public calendar.
- Kit answers only members of the group.
- Kit never posts for you.
- Photos stay between the two people in them.
- Processors: to write answers, summaries and briefs, Kit sends questions, group messages and what you tell it to DeepSeek (and to Fireworks, which runs the same model, when DeepSeek is down). To search, it sends the same kinds of text to Voyage AI to make embeddings.
- From the group chat Kit writes a short summary of what each person said about themselves. It leaves out age, religion, health and mental health, sexuality, drugs and politics, and drops anyone who may be under 18. For someone who has not used Kit, it shows only their own lines from the group, each linked to the message.
- Anyone in the group can opt out, whether or not they use Kit: message /optout to @EdgeCity_KitBot or open https://t.me/EdgeCity_KitBot?start=optout. Kit then stops summarizing you, naming you in people answers and intros, and reading what you post. /optin undoes it.
- /forget deletes everything Kit holds about you in one step: your profile and interests, what it remembers, your questions and its answers, meetings you reported, intros to and from you, RSVPs, quests, shipped entries and the summary of your group posts. Meetings others reported with you keep only "someone". Your messages stay in the group, but Kit stops reading them.
- This website and its MCP server expose only the public calendar and aggregate counts. Group chat, members, memories and meetings are never published here.
